From now on endoscopic spinal surgeries are also performed in Croatia. Previously our patients had to go to Munich as the nearest center where these types of surgeries are done.

Endoscopic surgeries minimally afflict the surrounding muscle tissue and therefore minimize postoperative pain.  During these procedures the function of the muscles that are the essence of stability of the spine is kept intact almost entirely.

By using special instruments and implants our neurosurgeons can successfully treat certain spinal ailments with less damage to the surrounding healthy tissue. Basically the surgeries are performed by a similar principle as traditional ones, but with the aid of endoscopic techniques the recovery period is much more pleasant and quicker.

The time of recuperation and returning to work is significantly shorter compared to traditional spinal surgeries and it is somewhere between 3 to 6 weeks opposed to 3 to 6 months of recovery after traditional methods of treatment.
